Pretty good. I have started feeling a bit like shit that past week or so and I'm not sure if it's because I haven't been moving or because the weather is changing.
I finally got below 220, but gained back a few lbs over the weekend. I understand what I've been doing in order to gain it back, so I'm working on getting back on track. Anywho, weighed in at 223lbs earlier this week!
I have actually taken the last couple of months off from exercising. This has happened for a few reasons:
I tweaked my already injured knee
*I sprained my knee playing Just Dance at the beginning of 2020. I've been fine; wearing my knee brace when needed, icing and ibuprofen as needed. However, I think I irritated it at he beginning/mid October while doing squats at the gym, so I've been trying to rest it. It's still bothering me a bit, but I think if I wear my brace I should be fine.
I started plateauing weight-wise
*This isn't necessarily a bad thing. It just meant that I either need to exercise less or eat more calories. I did a bit of both and I stated losing again. Lately it's been no exercise but still watching my caloric intake. I have managed to get kind off on my eating habits and need to reign that in.
It's been too dark to run
*eh, I'm black. It's dark in the morning now and I prefer to run outside where I can move from one point to another. I get bored on the treadmill. I just don't want a "situation" to occur. However, I may be done running for the year because I also hate being out in the cold...
I started therapy and wanted to give myself time to adjust.
*Yes! therapy is good for all reasons and I highly recommend it. I needed time for my mind to adjust and take in what I could from my sessions.
