My First Acupressure Matt 😅

A surprise Christmas present this year was my first 'Acupressure Matt'. I looked at it, touched the needles and then left it well alone - in it's bag for a few weeks 😅 😅 😅

Anyhoo, some surveillance device must have picked up on the conversation that I had had one of these evil devices in the house, so I was ad targeted, noticed the one I had and clicked on the reviews.

Those review got me curious and motivated.

After reading the rave reviews, I thought I would give it a shot. Lot's of reviews recommended trying to get past the first minute and then enjoy the heat after that...

Night One - Attempting to cross the first minute.

I couple of reviews recommended turning the matt landscape so it didn't cover the whole back, so I tried this first - couldn't do a minute. Felt heart rate going up as blood was being pumped to my upper back, but I couldn't get past the first minute. Bailed.

Night Two - Past the first minute, but in landscape.

Surprisingly, I got past the first minute of pain, focused on deep breathing and allowed my heart rate to accelerate. About 1 minute 30 in, my upper back started to really warm up - 2 minutes in and I was loving it, the natural heat felt incredible, 3 minutes - no pain just pure heat, loving it.

Night Three - Past the first minute in portrait.

Night three I was all in. Portrait mode covers the whole back area. Not easy to get past the first minute covering the whole back, lots of initial pain, heart rate way up initially then heat, loads of heat, all over! I did 5 minutes in total, 1 minute of pain, the rest was pure bliss, heat and relaxation, didn't want to get off it.

Personally I don't suffer from back pain, but I know a lot of people that do, if you are one of them, this is well worth an experiment for $15.00 - the only issue is it getting of it 🙃
