Muscle ups challenge < update!

In January I set myself a new challenge. 5 full muscle ups by the end of the year:

Heading towards the end of Q1 - haven't managed one yet, but I am still at it.

Now whilst I am doing any sort of training in my home gym, I add in a couple of chin ups, 2 - 3 max during my training sessions, about every 5-7 minutes or so, I circle back round to my pull up bar and chin up for as long as I can hold it, then back down slowly, arms fully extended and then up again until I reach failure.

I am convincing myself that this is my preparation phase before I attempt a single full muscle up without cheating.
