I remember a few years ago, whilst I was going through my keto phase..
.. I had witnessed a guy who wasn't overly muscular doing pull-ups but then managing to get himself above the bar for a dip, all in one go!
Luckily, I have a pullup bar in my home gym:
So I thought I would give it a go.. no chance, not even close, in fact, I thought my eyeballs were going to pop out of my head. I gave up.
Fast forward to yesterday, I noticed that one of my friends had posted a small workout video, low and behold - she was doing the same thing, I asked what they were called and that's when I learned about 'muscle ups'.
I hit up YouTube looking for a tutorial and I came across this:
After being inspired to give this another go, I have set myself a challenge to be able to perform 5+ muscle ups by the end of the year. Clean with good form.
