It's the Tokyo 2020 Olympics!
For me it's the men's street skateboarding final. My country weren't represented in that event, but I just loved the different styles and tricks on show! I used to skateboard a lot, so watching that over the weekend has inspired me to pick up my board again 😁🛹
What's been your favourite moment so far? How has that moment made you feel with regard to your own training?

The first event I tuned into was the Women's 100m Butterfly in swimming where the Canadian athlete Maggie MacNeil won gold.
Still Canada's only gold medal so far, so I feel pretty good that I am definitely a good luck charm. 😅
Aside from pride in my homeland, it's hard not to be inspired by Simone Biles — just an unbelievable athlete demonstrating raw power and balance that is hardly fathomable.
Well done Canada on your track win from DeGrasse this week too! Also very pleased to see Simone Biles and other high profile athletes taking positive steps to protect their mental health.
Can't forget women's soccer team! They got that gold 🥇🥳
Bradly Sinden (silver) in the men’s taekwondo 🇬🇧 yay! I need to see the skateboarding, it looks amazing.
Go Bradley! Interestingly, the coolest thing about the skateboarding is that the athletes don't seem to act like competitors. Especially in the women's park event the other day, since there was no crowd, you could hear all the girls cheering on the one who's turn it was to skate! So sweet ♥
It’s just fantastic isn’t it, a totally different experience to watch. They are sooooo cool. BMX similar vibe, all rooting for each not to get hurt. 🌈
I always enjoy catching some of the indoor and beach volleyball matches. It’s really impressive to see how skilled these athletes are.
I’ve also been loving 3x3 basketball. I’m happy they added that sport to the olympics. Now just waiting for parkour to be added 😎 that would be great!
Parkour would be SICK. Apparently there's a world parkour championships so why not the Olympics eh! worldparkourchampionship.com/
I gotta check out WPC, did not know it existed! I think break dancing was officially announced for 2024 Olympics, that will be cool to watch. Should bring more younger audiences to the games.
I follow a parkour team called STORROR. I'm a big fan of their YT videos. I also backed a kickstarter campaign for a videogame they are working on called STORROR Parkour Pro. Can't wait to get my hands on the beta!
